Zhongnuo Caring at the 4th Tuberculosis Innovation Conference

From April 24–27, 2025, the “4th Tuberculosis Innovation Conference” and the “4th Tuberculosis Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prevention Industry Exhibition,” organized by the Beijing TB Diagnosis and Treatment Technology Innovation Alliance, was held in Lingshui, Hainan. Over 400 experts and healthcare representatives attended. Zhongnuo Caring, as a representative of domestic innovative anti-TB enterprises, exhibited Cycloserine and Bedaquiline.

Conference focus: Upgrading prevention and treatment models through new technologies

Under the theme “Focus on New Technologies, Create a Shared Future,” the conference addressed AI-assisted diagnosis and treatment, short-course regimens for DR-TB, and comorbidity management of TB and diabetes. Mr.Lei Zhenglong, Director of Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Department, National Disease Control and Prevention Administration, emphasized via video that new drug R&D and digital management must serve as dual engines to drive the implementation of the National TB Control Plan (2024–2030). WHO expert Mr. Dennis Falzon, speaking at a sub-forum, highlighted that China’s clinical experience with bedaquiline-based short-course regimens is globally significant. Meanwhile, over 50 enterprises participated in the exhibition, showcasing frontier technologies such as AI diagnostic assistance and molecular POCT detection, etc.

 

 

Zhongnuo Caring: From drug promotion to ecosystem building

At the Zhongnuo Caring’s exhibition area, two core products were presented:

Saitesun® Bedaquiline: Inhibits mycobacterial ATP synthase, listed as a first-line core drug for MDR-TB treatment in the WHO Consolidated Guidelines on Tuberculosis Module 4: Treatment and Care (2025).

Daslikang® Cycloserine: Disrupts bacterial cell wall synthesis and is recommended by WHO and Chinese guidelines as a second-line auxiliary drug in MDR-TB regimens, frequently used in individualized treatments to support DR-TB management.
